Open Settings
On your iPhone go to Settings → Cellular → Add eSIM (or Mobile Data → Add Data Plan).

Scan QR code
Tap Use QR Code and point your camera at the QR code in your email or below.

Activate eSIM
Tap Continue → Add Cellular Plan → name it (e.g. “Travel eSIM”) → Done.

Set data routing
When abroad, go to Settings → Cellular and select your eSIM for Primary or Travel data.
Compatible with: iPhone XS or newer running iOS 12.1+

Open Settings
Go to Settings → Network & internet → SIMs → Add SIM.

Scan QR code
Tap Download a SIM instead? and point your camera at the QR code.

Activate & name
Confirm download, name the eSIM (e.g. “Travel eSIM”), and tap Activate.

Set preferred SIM
Under SIM preferences, set your travel eSIM as the preferred data SIM while abroad.
Compatible with: Google Pixel 3 or newer

Open Settings
Go to Settings → Connections → SIM card manager → Add eSIM (or Mobile networks → Add eSIM).

Scan QR code
Tap Scan QR code and scan the code from your email.

Confirm download
Follow the on-screen prompts to download and install the eSIM profile.

Activate abroad
Turn on your travel eSIM in SIM card manager before or after landing.
Compatible with: Samsung Galaxy S20 or newer with eSIM support

Open Settings
Look for SIM cards, Mobile networks, or Connections in Settings.

Add eSIM
Find an Add eSIM or Download SIM option and tap it.

Scan or enter code
Scan the QR code, or if prompted, enter the activation code manually: the LPA string below.

Activate
Follow device prompts to complete activation. Enable the eSIM as your data SIM when abroad.
